KALIWA TUNNEL PROJECT – PHILIPPINES

Kaliwa Tunnel project is located on the Kaliwa River on Luzon Island in the eastern Philippines. Kaliwa diversion tunnel has a total length of 21.495km and a longitudinal slope of 0.1682%. TBM tunnel produced by CRCC is used in the tunnel boring and lined with segments. TBM tunnel is excavated from the exit to the entrance. inner diameter is 4.0m after the lining of the segments, TBM tunnel boring began in February 2023.
